2020 - 2025
The below projects were done alongside my normal full time job. These were a mix of extensions and new build projects such as flats, barns and likewise other work such as garage rebuilds and small huts.

Some of these involved full planning applications and building control work whilst others did not require either. Further information can be provided if needed.
Summer Lane Flats, Barnsley [2021 - Present]
This was a series of flats designed on a empty piece of land currently used as a scrap yard. The land belonged to takeaway owners on the main street who wanted to create a means of income from the land. so flats were designed.
Full planning permission was granted for this a few years ago and the foundations have been laid recently around the end of 2024.

The works are now ongoing and I will be inspecting as it goes on. Phase 1 and 2 surveys and reports were done on this site due to us needing to understand what kind of foundation we needed. I was onsite for this and shadowed the surveyor to learn the process of how this is done onsite and how reports are made which I found very informative.
Mustafa Mount, Bradford [Jan 2024 - Present]
This is in the early stages but is a internal fit out for one of the former university buildings in Bradford. The conversion is from a library, meeting rooms, toilets and the likes into a gym, wetrooms, Hammam and more. Essentially a gym and spa facility. This is currently in the early stages, as you can see these are the layout plans to understand the possible spatial arrangements of the space.
Garage Rebuild & Security Hut Build, Manchester [Present]
This was designed in March 2025. It was 2 parts, 1 was to rebuild a garage so it was taller do house a car lift which would hold 2 cars. And the second being for a security hut as the client has bought the surrounding two properties and wanted to ensure there was a dedicated security station for this.

Both have been given approval from planning and will begin shortly.
First Floor Extension, Huddersfield [Present]
An extension to the first floor corner section of a house, the idea was to square off the house upstairs and create a a larger room which could also allow for an ensuite bathroom. Even though it was smaller than the planning requirements we have to apply for planning due to it being first floor and above an existing conservatory. This has now begun [May 2025] and will be completed in the coming months.
